snap circuits alternative energy is a set that takes no batteries but instead runs on hand cranks and such, it includes a book about green options, and an instructions manual. some of its pieces are: FM radio, hand crank, solar cell, LED’s, energy cell, rechargeable battery, wind mill, clock, and analog meter.
